My commercial office cleaning job with Ìý is a good one because I can work mostly on my own but still be around a few people, too. I get to work early each morning and can get almost everything done before the employees arrive for the day. I have learned to speak up when I need to and ask for small accommodations from my employer — and that’s a big step for me. My manager has always been helpful when I speak up.

I tell other Riverbend clients that they can accomplish their goals, too. It’s hard sometimes but it’s a good feeling to work every day.

My support team at Riverbend has helped me learn new things by taking art classes and exploring different mediums of artistic expression. They’ve helped me create a website where people can find my art. They’ve even helped me organize exhibitions.

My paintings can be seen at , , andin downtown Concord. Jordyn [at Employment Services] is currently helping me enter art contests so I can get more art supplies and maybe some extra spending money.
